With so many choices in service providers, reviews can be a great way to determine a company’s track record. Past performance is often an indicator of future performance. Unfortunately, some service providers “cheat” with reviews to try to gain consumer confidence and boost search engine rankings.

The next time you’re looking for a service provider, take a close look at their online reviews.
Some things to look out for:
1.) If it’s a Google review, take a look at the profile of the person who submitted the review. If that “person” has submitted 4 other reviews for 4 other companies in 4 different states in the past few months then it’s probably not a “real” review.
2.) If the review sounds like a sales pitch or is loaded with “keywords” for a particular service or industry and isn’t very coherent, then it’s probably not a real review.
3.) If you’re in doubt, contact the service provider and ask for permission to contact the reviewer to get more information on their experience with the company.
Many service providers get it right, work hard to provide an outstanding customer experience and let reviews happen naturally. But some try to take advantage of the system by falsifying reviews. Inviting an unknown company into your home is a big deal. Real reviews from real customers can help ease your mind and reassure that you’re dealing with an honest and reputable company.
At Extreme Clean Dryer Vent Cleaning, we work VERY hard to provide the highest possible level of quality and customer service. We’ll gladly provide the contact information for any of our reviews if you would like to personally speak with someone who has worked with us in the past.
